Back To Back Comic Cons In Liverpool And Birmingham

Pop culture is an exciting phenomenon that connects people all over the world through a love of fictional worlds and characters. Some of the best places to experience it are comic cons, which is why I was excited to attend two in March: Liverpool Comic Con and Birmingham Comic Con. Both events were carried out back to over two weekends. I was at Liverpool Con on the 10th Match and Birmingham Con on the 17th March. Both events were different, with each being enjoyable for different reasons. Here are my thoughts on both and why I think everyone who loves pop culture should attend a comic con.

Cosplaying is a popular hobby for people all over the world because it provides a creative outlet. The Comic Vault is interested in promoting cosplaying organisations across the globe, which is why I’m bringing in a new feature called ‘Cosplay Expeditions.’ The segment will cover cosplay organisations, websites, charities and events in various countries and promote their message. The first organisation I’m featuring is ArkadyMac, who I came across when looking into cosplaying charities. Based in the Philippines, ArkadyMac started off as an anime series review blog that expanded into a community hub for pop culture and cosplay events.

How Collaboration Can Make You A Better Cosplayer And Provide A Creative Outlet

If there’s one thing I enjoy about being creative, it’s getting the chance to meet like-minded people. Collaboration is a great way to make new connections and produce something new, whether it’s a story or a piece of art. Working with someone else helps you elevate each other, which is useful when it comes to cosplaying. The cosplay world is built on collaboration, with people making costumes, selling costumes, taking pictures and having fun together. It’s why I was excited to do a new cosplay photo shoot with fellow creatives and embody my favourite comic character.

The One Year Anniversary Of The Comic Vault

A year ago I decided to explore my passion for comics by creating my own website. I didn’t know how it would go or if people would even want to read it. All I knew is that I loved comics and I wanted to write about characters I connected with and stories that made me happy. Today marks the one year anniversary of The Comic Vault and it’s become bigger than I could have hoped for. I’ve achieved goals, discovered new characters, increased my knowledge and become even more passionate about comics.
