How Collaboration Can Make You A Better Cosplayer And Provide A Creative Outlet

If there’s one thing I enjoy about being creative, it’s getting the chance to meet like-minded people. Collaboration is a great way to make new connections and produce something new, whether it’s a story or a piece of art. Working with someone else helps you elevate each other, which is useful when it comes to cosplaying. The cosplay world is built on collaboration, with people making costumes, selling costumes, taking pictures and having fun together. It’s why I was excited to do a new cosplay photo shoot with fellow creatives and embody my favourite comic character.

700 Followers And The Pursuit Of A New Passion

It’s become customary for me to chart milestones on The Comic Vault and I’m happy to say I’ve reached another one with 700 followers! It came around a lot quicker than I expected, but all I can say is that I’m grateful for everyone who continues to read, like and comment on my articles. If anyone finds comfort in my words, or is able to learn something new about the comic industry then I’d say that I’m doing my job. To mark this new milestone, it’s inspired me to pursue another one of my passions with a seperate blog.

The Comic Vault Is Nominated For A Second Mystery Blogger Award

It was around this time last year that I started writing on The Comic Vault and it was awarded a Mystery Blogger Award. A year later, I’ve been nominated again, which is a great reminder of people enjoying what I write. It’s always good to get recognition for something you’re passionate about and this year I’ve been nominated by kingdylbagblog. The One Year Anniversary Of The Comic Vault

A year ago I decided to explore my passion for comics by creating my own website. I didn’t know how it would go or if people would even want to read it. All I knew is that I loved comics and I wanted to write about characters I connected with and stories that made me happy. Today marks the one year anniversary of The Comic Vault and it’s become bigger than I could have hoped for. I’ve achieved goals, discovered new characters, increased my knowledge and become even more passionate about comics.

Finding something you’re passionate about is one of the greatest sensations in the world. When you’re willing to dedicate yourself to it no matter what then it’s the something to smile about. Writing about comics and pop culture gives me a sense of purpose. It’s been a good year for The Comic Vault so far, with readership increasing at a steady rate. It’s inspired me to experiment with different methods of engagement, so I’ve decided to create a Facebook page for the blog.
