The Comic Vault is a place for comic reviews and shining a light on the industry. But it’s also about creating a platform for up and coming comic writers to establish themselves. It’s why I’m sending a call out for new comics to review.
By sending your comic to me I’ll give it an honest review and it will be shared with my followers. I’m especially interested in receiving comics from indie publishers or writers who’re trying to get their work out there. For example, River Rock Comics sent me the debut of their series called The Ladies Of Market Street. It was an interesting story about a group of working girls who’re trying to look out for one another in a sleazy underworld setting. You can check the review out here.
In terms of indie comics I like to read, I have an interest in neo-noir, horror and western settings. So, if you’ve come up with anything like that then feel free to get in touch.
When it comes to telling a story, comics are one of the best ways to do it. By combining art and dialogue, the reader can build up a picture that doesn’t have to exist in their mind. Without comics, there wouldn’t be iconic characters like Batman or Spider-Man, and that’s one of many reasons I enjoy reading them. It’s why every comic lover should share their ideas and look out for each other.
