Liebster Award

Writteningeek has nominated me for the Liebster award and I wanted to thank her for the kind surprise. As I’ve said in the past, it’s great that people are responding to what I’m writing. Even though March has been a quieter month for posting I’m grateful for everyone who has looked over The Comic Vault and find’s something worthwhile.

The Rules

Say thank you to the person who has nominated you for the Award.
Answer the 11 questions the person has asked you
Nominate 11 people (comment on their blog to let them know)
Ask the people who you have nominated 11 questions

1. If you could time travel, where in time would you go?

There’d be many places I’d go but my first stop would be Ancient Rome. I find the time period fascinating and would want to see how the Roman Empire rose up and fell.

2. Which is your favourite season: Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter?

My favourite season is spring because of the feeling of rebirth. The flowers come out, blossoms appear on trees and the sun is shining again.

3. Do you have a favourite book genre?

Fantasy is definitely my favourite genre. Reading is about escaping into a new world for me and fantasy fulfills that.

4. What is your favourite TV show?

My favourite TV show would probably be Sons of Anarchy. I loved the characters, the story and the Shakespearean elements.

5. How often do you post on your blog?

Anywhere between 2-5 posts a week.

6. Do you watch cartoons?

I do watch cartoons. I grew up watching a lot of awesome shows like Ed, Edd and Eddy, Dexter’s Lab, Cow and Chicken and Courage the Cowardly Dog. I still have fond memories of them and watch them when I can.

7. What was the last movie you watched?

The last movie I watched was Logan. It’s an awesome film and you can check out my review of it here.

8. Name an item on your bucket list.

Travel to Japan one day.

9. Share a quote about life, love, or writing and who said it.

“In the fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance my head is bloody but unbowed.”

The quote is from my favourite poem, Invictus. It was written by William Henley and I have it tattooed on my arms.

10. Do you have any pets?

I don’t at the moment but I would love to get a dog one day.

11. What do you like to do to relax?

Reading is the best way to relax for me.
